Wylt is a free music streaming app that leveraged the YouTube API under the hood.
With it's slick UI and branding, it was impossible to tell it was just pulling the YouTube version of a song. The secret sauce was in the algorithm that would convert a user's search query into the appropriate YouTube video with the official version of the song. We're not looking for covers or mashups here, we want the real deal. It wasn't easy, but it worked and it was awesome!
